If Collective Halo detects an incident scenario the app will commence a countdown sequence which is shown on screen, or in the event, your screen is off (i.e. in a pocket) you will be notified via the notification service of your device (similar in the way to how a news app notifies you of a headline even when your phone screen is switched off or the phone is locked).
If you do not dismiss the countdown timer within the allotted time, your emergency contacts will be sent your location via SMS.
Important: A data connection is required in order to raise alerts to emergency contacts. In the event that your phone does not have appropriate data connectivity, Collective Halo will be unable to raise an alert.
